D Magazine asks dentists to recognize excellence among their peers. Every year, the magazine sends out a poll to roughly 3,000 local dentists, and only those with valid licenses are allowed to cast votes. A panel of dentists reviews the list of dentists who receive the most votes, and then D Magazine investigates the winners to make sure they’re professionals who have a good reputation and who have valid dental licenses.
Dr. Patel was voted as one of the Best Dentists in 2018, an honor that few dental professionals are privileged to receive.

Every year, Living Magazine hosts its Reader’s Choice Awards. It allows the general public to vote on their favorite businesses in their local community. In both 2017 and 2018, Dr. Patel won the top place in both the Best Cosmetic Dentist and Best Family Dentist categories in the Frisco/Plano area.
