If Dr. Paresh Patel has recommend oral sedation he will provide instructions to help you prepare to receive sedation and your treatment. Drink clear four ounces of apple juice (to keep your sugar level up) with sedation medications the day of the appointment.
Do not eat anything six hours prior to your appointment. If appointment is in the afternoon, you may have a light breakfast but do not eat six hours prior to your procedure.
You may drink water anytime but stop water intake 90 minutes prior to your appointment.
No alcohol the day before or the day of the appointment.
You will need to be driven to and from your appointment. Please be aware that you must you’re your driver – we will not release you to a taxi service (e.g., Uber, Lyft, etc.).
Please use the restroom upon arrival and leave all personal belongings with your driver.
