In addition to using dental X-rays to help us see problems that are invisible to the eye, we also perform a thorough cleaning and polishing of your teeth. Your X-rays help us see issues going on under the gums and in the tooth roots.
Hopefully, you have been brushing and flossing diligently every day, but if not, we will make sure that any hardened plaque turning into tartar (or calculus) is thoroughly removed between the teeth and around the gumline. If needed, we will also go over your oral hygiene routine with you to make it the best it can be, with some tips and recommendations.
