You might know it as laughing gas which calms you when you inhale it. This tranquil effect stops shortly after you stop breathing in the gas, and you can drive yourself home and go about your day normally.
Oral Sedation
Taking a dentist-prescribed pill helps manage your mild to moderate anxiety and can even help you sleep well the night before your appointment. You will need a ride to and from your dental visit, and while in the chair you will feel lightly sedated and relaxed.
IV Sedation
Accessing a vein, this sedation method involves having medication delivered directly into your bloodstream. The effect is immediate and our team will control the flow. You can stay awake during your treatment or fall asleep if you prefer. You will need a ride home after your treatment is complete.
